The State Scientific Institution “Institute of Plant Protection of the Academy of Agricultural Sciences of Tajikistan” (hereinafter referred to as the Institute) was established by Resolution No. 500 of the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan dated September 27, 2025.
The Institute is a specialized scientific institution focused on conducting research in plant protection, studying pests and diseases affecting agricultural crops, developing modern control methods, and implementing scientific advances in agricultural production.
The Institute’s main objectives are to advance plant protection science, ensure phytosanitary safety, prevent and reduce damage caused by harmful organisms, improve methods for controlling plant pests and diseases, and contribute to increasing agricultural productivity and product quality.
