Roundtable Discussion on the Topic “Mandatory Free Copies of Documents — A Guarantee of Information Security”
At the initiative of the Main Directorate for the Protection of State Secrets under the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan, in cooperation with the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Tajikistan, a roundtable discussion was held on 19 August 2026 on the topic “Mandatory Free Copies of Documents — A Guarantee of Information Security.”
The event was attended by the Head of the Inspection Division for the Protection of State Secrets in the Press and Other Mass Media of the Main Directorate; the Head of the Publishing and Press Department of the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Tajikistan;
It was noted that, in accordance with the requirements of Government Resolution No. 453 of the Republic of Tajikistan dated 31 August 2012, “On the List of Recipients of Mandatory Free Copies of Documents,” printing enterprises are required to provide, free of charge, various types of documents of national significance to state bodies and organizations designated by law.
At the conclusion of the event, participants exchanged views and received specific answers to their questions.
The purpose of the event was to inform those responsible at printing enterprises of the applicable legal requirements and to identify ways to address shortcomings in the provision of mandatory free copies of documents.
