In accordance with the work plan of the Main Directorate and within the framework of the State Programme for Strengthening the Protection of State Secrets and the Technical Protection of Information for 2022–2026, a training seminar and consultation on “Preventing the Disclosure of State Secrets in the Press When Publishing Materials and Issues Related to the Provision of Mandatory Free Copies of Documents” was held on 22 September 2026 in Dushanbe, with the participation of chief editors of state newspapers and magazines, as well as officials responsible for the official websites of state authorities in the city of Dushanbe.
It was noted that the purpose of organizing and holding the aforementioned event was to enhance the knowledge of personnel working for periodical publications, chief editors of state magazines and newspapers, and officials responsible for the official websites of state authorities in the field of state secret protection. Particular attention was also drawn to the requirements of the legislation of the Republic of Tajikistan concerning the prevention of the disclosure of state secrets and liability for the failure to provide mandatory free copies of documents.
