National museum Tajikistan

The State Institution “National Museum” of the Executive Office of the President of the Republic of Tajikistan was established pursuant to the Decree of the President of the Republic of Tajikistan dated July 27, 2011, No. 1094. The total area of the museum is 24,000 m², of which 15,000 m² is allocated for exhibition purposes. The museum has 22 exhibition halls, showcasing the finest masterpieces of our ancestors’ heritage, which reflect the history and civilization of the Tajik people. The National Museum has four exhibition departments open to visitors: Department of Nature; Department of Ancient and Medieval History; Department of Modern and Contemporary History; Department of Fine and Applied Arts.
