The event was opened by the First Deputy Head of the Main Directorate for the Protection of State Secrets, who spoke about the importance of State Independence in strengthening national statehood, maintaining peace and stability, promoting national unity, and advancing the country’s socio-economic development.
This was followed by an address from Academician Abdujabbor Rahmonzoda, Corresponding Member of the National Academy of Sciences of Tajikistan. After congratulating those present on the 35th anniversary of the State Independence of the Republic of Tajikistan, he noted that State Independence represents the greatest historical achievement of the Tajik people. He emphasized that the period of independence has created extensive opportunities to strengthen the foundations of statehood, develop the national economy, construct social facilities, advance education and culture, and improve the population’s standard of living.
At the conclusion of the event, it was emphasized that every citizen can make a valuable contribution to the continued development of independent Tajikistan through a strong sense of responsibility, dedicated work, and active participation in initiatives aimed at improving and developing the country.м
