On 14 August 2026, in accordance with the Work Plan of the Main Directorate for the Protection of State Secrets under the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan, a regional conference on “Ensuring the Protection of State Secrets and the Technical Protection of Information in Government Bodies and Organizations” was held in the Rasht Region.
The conference was organized within the framework of the State Programme for Strengthening the Protection of State Secrets and the Technical Protection of Information in the Republic of Tajikistan for 2022–2026, approved by Resolution No. 377 of the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan dated 29 July 2022.
The conference was attended by Sherali Mirzo, Head of the Main Directorate for the Protection of State Secrets under the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan; representatives of the leadership of executive government bodies, judicial authorities, law enforcement agencies, military structures, district chairpersons, representatives of organizations, and other officials responsible for security and secrecy regimes within government bodies and organizations in the Rasht Region.
The regional conference was held to discuss issues relating to the protection of state secrets and the technical protection of information, existing challenges in these areas, and possible ways to address them.
At the conclusion of the conference, participants exchanged views and opinions. It was noted that the conference was of considerable importance for the further development of the field, improving the quality of official activities, and enhancing professional knowledge among employees of government bodies and organizations in the Rasht Region.
