Today, the Chairman of the Majlisi Milli of the Majlisi Oli of the Republic of Tajikistan and the Mayor of Dushanbe, His Excellency Rustami Emomali, held a meeting with the Mayor of Shiraz, Islamic Republic of Iran, Mr. Mohammad Hassan Asadi, who is on an official visit to Tajikistan.
At the beginning of the meeting, His Excellency Rustami Emomali warmly welcomed the guest and his accompanying delegation on their first visit to the Republic of Tajikistan and the beautiful city of Dushanbe, noting that this visit would serve as an important and effective step towards strengthening cooperation in various fields.
During the meeting, the parties discussed the expansion of cooperation in the areas of economy, industry, digital technologies, education and culture.
The parties also considered it appropriate to celebrate the 35th anniversary of the establishment of sister-city relations in 2027 at a high level, as well as to organize Days of Culture of the City of Dushanbe in Shiraz and Days of Culture of the City of Shiraz in Dushanbe.
The meeting also included an exchange of views on other issues of mutual interest.
