The 29th meeting of the Council of Heads of Migration Authorities of the CIS member states was held in the city of Baku. The event was attended by delegations from Russia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Uzbekistan, as well as representatives of international organizations.
The Deputy Minister of Labor, Migration, and Employment of the Population of the Republic of Tajikistan, Sharif Norzoda Sangimurod, participated and spoke at the meeting on behalf of Tajikistan.
The meeting addressed important issues related to migration policy, the legal status of foreign citizens, measures to combat illegal migration, and ways to cooperate with international organizations.
