On May 30, the Chairman of the Majlisi Milli of the Majlisi Oli of the Republic of Tajikistan and the Mayor of Dushanbe, His Excellency Rustami Emomali, received Pedro Vargas Santos David, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Euronews television network, who is in Dushanbe to participate in the High-Level International Conference on Glacier Preservation.
During the meeting, the parties discussed issues of cooperation with the television network in areas of mutual interest.
It was noted that the participation of Euronews' leadership in the High-Level International Conference on Glacier Preservation in Dushanbe, as well as the network's coverage of the event, would contribute to raising public awareness and further strengthening cooperation in this field.
Extensive coverage and promotion of the country's historical monuments, tourism opportunities and sporting achievements through the renowned international television network were identified as priority areas for expanding bilateral cooperation.
